Are all registry cleaners the same?
People have problems with their computers. That is the truth! And, when looking for a fix to these problems, you will run across a bunch of different fixes, including using a registry repair software. But, you see, here is the thing: Some of these really don't fix anything! We have set out to find the best registry repair downloads, and have narrowed the field down to 5. We cut through all the red tape, and here are the results from our software experts. We have compiled a listing of these softwares side-by-side for your convenience, which you can see Here »
To keep the reviews and analysis the same for each software, we have chosen the following sections to evaluate each on:
- Features » Error reporting, deep scan, scan log, backup/restore, other tools included besides a registry repair software, registry optimizer, registry compactor, description of problems, etc.
- Ease of Use » How easy is this to use? No need in struggling with this. Were you able to download, install, and fix errors in a self explanatory sort of way, etc.
- Effectiveness » when comparing this software to others from the same group, does this software actually remove some errors, did it really speed up the computer, eliminate dll and runtime errors, was the overall performance improved, etc.
- Customer Service » Does this software offer simple to use customer service tools, do you have the capability to communicate with a help desk or customer service group or person, are the friendly and polite, how effective is the service when needed, etc.
All of the compiled information and comparison results are
listed below. This should give you a pretty good idea of what you
might need for your problems. Each software does allow a Free
Registry Scan, so you can see what potential problems you
might have. And, while all of these software will actually fix a
majority of any of your problems, the registry software reviewers
selected RegEasy as the Top Registry Repair Software
in correcting the majority of problems computer users experience.
UPDATE For RegistryEasy Software
I wanted to add an update to this site, and especially for the software Registry Easy. Since I made the
original video and put this registry repair review site together, the folks over at Registry Easy have stepped up their
game even more. They now have what they are calling a "1-Click Maintenance" system. Now, their software will
perform all of the maintenance functions at one time, and then fix all of them at one time.
I have taken a screen shot of this just recently. This picture was taken on a fresh install of Windows XP,
and after adding all of the service packs, etc. Once I was done loading the computer back up, I ran my
Registry Easy software, and you can see the amount of errors that I had right from the beginning.

I am so glad you put together this site. It gave me a chance to look at the best of the softwares and make a good decision. Registry Easy was my choice, and I fixed over 1000 errors on the first scan. Thanks again!.

Mike, excellent site. As a Network Administrator, I get calls all the time for computer errors in our company. I bought the site license for the Registry Easy, and am on my way to installing this on all of our computers. Thanks man, you are a life saver!

B.W., I hear you, man. People just don't understand how they can easily mess something up. This should definitely free up your time. Especially with the autoscan feature.

Pretty interesting site. I like the video, and know you recommend the Regeasy, but I actually purchased the Registry Defense product. The feel of this software was more of what I wanted.

B.P. No worries. You really can not go wrong with any of these 5 softwares. They all have a different feel to them, and some do a few different things. Glad you found the one registry repair you liked.
